The Public Sector Leadership and Social Innovation Academy (PSLSIA), in partnership with the Presidential CNG Initiative (PCNGI) and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, is pioneering practical, energy-driven solutions designed to accelerate national development, stimulate local industry, and improve quality of life across Nigeria.

Our initiatives deliver cleaner energy, lower operating costs, and higher productivity—with a focus on healthcare, food security, and sustainable exports.

 

OUR STRATEGIC ENERGY PROGRAMMES

 

1. CNG4HEALTHCARE

A national effort to transition health-sector mobility and operations to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
This includes:

  • Deployment of CNG-powered ambulances and medical transport units

  • Lower-cost fueling for hospitals and emergency responders

  • Support for state governments and health institutions adopting cleaner energy

  • Reduced carbon emissions and improved operational efficiency

CNG4Healthcare ensures that no Nigerian is denied medical support because of fuel scarcity or high energy costs.

2. CNG4FOODSECURITY

A transformational agricultural mobility and logistics framework ensuring Nigeria’s farmers can move food efficiently, affordably, and safely.

This initiative strengthens food systems by:

  • Powering agricultural logistics (tractors, cold-chain vehicles, processing units) with CNG

  • Reducing post-harvest losses with reliable energy for mobile cold rooms

  • Supporting farmers with cost-effective transportation

  • Enhancing national food availability and resilience

With clean, affordable energy at the center, millions of farmers gain expanded access to markets and stronger incomes.

 

3. WASTE2BRIQUETTES4EXPORTS

A circular-economy project that converts agricultural and organic waste into high-value briquettes, boosting Nigeria’s export competitiveness.

This programme:

  • Reduces environmental waste through energy-efficient conversion

  • Creates alternative fuel sources for local industries

  • Generates new export revenue streams

  • Supports rural jobs and community-level energy entrepreneurship

Waste2Briquettes4Exports strengthens Nigeria’s position in the global renewable-energy marketplace while empowering local producers.
